LumenGuides is developing Naviscope, an AI-assisted robotic bronchoscopic navigation platform designed to address one of pulmonary medicine's most persistent challenges: accurate, radiation-free access to deep peripheral lung lesions.

Unlike existing navigation systems that rely on fluoroscopy, electromagnetic tracking, or intra-procedural CT, Naviscope uses fiber-optic shape sensing based on Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG) combined with proprietary signal processing, real-time geometric reconstruction, and AI-driven navigation algorithms.

This approach enables continuous, real-time 3D reconstruction of the airway tree directly from within the lumen, without radiation, external imaging, or room-dependent infrastructure.
